Journalist Dmitry Guberniev criticized in his speech telegram channel President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe, who insulted the former defender of CSKA Moscow Vasily Berezutsky.
“Who gave this lady the right to talk about Vasily like that? Berezutsky is the pride of Russian football. And because he was a football player, he gave people more joy than Vyalbe. Ms. Vyalbe, shame and disgrace,” Guberniev wrote.
In an interview with journalist Nobel Arustamyan, Vasily Berezutsky said: “If you really want to play at a high level and achieve something, then you need to leave now 100%. “It doesn’t matter which country it is, it doesn’t matter which flag it’s under and it doesn’t matter how.”
In 2023, Vasily Berezutsky and his family moved to live in Spain.
From 2002 to 2018 he defended the colors of CSKA Moscow. With the Army team, he became the Russian champion six times, won the National Cup seven times and the UEFA Cup once. He announced his retirement in 2018.
