Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev talked about what field he wants to try himself in after completing his professional career.
“I have a lot to work on figuring out what I like after I retire because I want to do what I love.
I can try myself as a commentator. I don’t know if I will like it or not. It’s the same in coaching.
But exactly what I will try to do depends on how life turns out, but I will try to become an amateur racer. This is my dream. Of course I won’t be able to turn professional,” Medvedev said at a press conference.
On November 13, Medvedev defeated his compatriot Andrei Rublev in the match at the ATP Final Championship with scores of 6:4 and 6:2. Now he will meet with German Alexander Zverev.
In the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, Daniil Medvedev ranks third with 7,200 points and becomes the best Russian player. Rublev is in fifth place (4,805 points). Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to lead (9,945 points). Spanish Carlos Alcaraz ranks second with 8,455 points.
Previously was named The best season of Medvedev’s career.
