Elizarov emphasized that the organization will not prevent the 37-year-old athlete from joining the Swedish national team.
“Everything was leading to this. He has been living in this country for many years, his wife is Swedish. His departure is a definite loss for the Russian team. He was one of its leaders. But nothing. “We can handle this,” Elizarov said.
