Former goalkeeper of the Russian national team and Lokomotiv Ruslan Nigmatullin predicted that Guillermo Abascal will soon leave his post as coach of Spartak Moscow. His words are quoted Metatations.
“I assume that Abascal will leave Spartak in the winter. There are difficulties in the technical implementation of dismissal because there are assistants and everyone will have to pay a penalty.

Abaskal took over as head of Spartak before the start of the 2022/23 season. He extended his contract with the team with a salary increase as the season progressed. Last season, under his leadership, the red and white team came third in the Russian Championship.
Spartak shares sixth place with Lokomotiv in the Russian Premier League (RPL) with 21 points after 14 weeks. Abascal’s team’s next match will be against Rostov. The red-whites lost 5 of the 14 matches they played in the season.
