Former football player and coach of Spartak Moscow Valery Gladilin spoke about the selection of football players by the technical staff of the Russian national team for the next training camp of the national team. In his statement to socialbites.ca, the expert emphasized that the headquarters led by Valery Karpin could be content with television broadcasts of Russian Premier League (RPL) matches to assess the level and condition of the players.
“The coaching staff monitors the players very carefully. They work in the championship themselves, they receive information regularly, the matches are well broadcasted. You don’t even need to send someone to the games to watch a particular player.
However, there is no point in separating anyone from the “collections” anymore because there is no clear leader. If a player is in the first 11 and shows himself, he has a chance to join the national team. But the match does not impose obligations on anyone and Karpin gives opportunities to everyone and looks at options for the future,” says Gladilin.
The Russian national team will start training camp at its base in Novogorsk on November 13 and will play a friendly match with the Cuban national team on November 20. The match will be played in Volgograd and will start at 19.30 Moscow time.
It was before named A player like no other in the RPL.
