CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Vladislav Torop appreciated the goal of his team’s forward Anton Zabolotny in the match against Orenburg in the Russian Cup. His words are quoted RIA News.
“Most importantly, we took first place in the group. Today is a natural victory. My concentration may have been broken after the missed goal. We were caught in the counter-attack. On November 2, CSKA beat Orenburg at home with a score of 3:1 in the final match of the Russian Cup group stage. The goals were scored by Fedor Chalov (one goal from a penalty) and Anton Zabolotny.
This victory allowed the army team to take first place in the group and advance to the play-off round. Orenburg also reached the next stage of the tournament. The draw will be held on November 3.
