Manchester United are experiencing their worst start since the 1962/1963 season. Erik ten Hag’s men lost eight of their first 15 games of the season. The report stated that the worst result was in the 1962/1963 season, when Manchester United lost nine of the first 15 matches of the season.
The Red Devils ended their participation in the tournament by losing 0:3 to Newcastle in the English League Cup 1/8 final on 1 November. Miguel Almiron opened the scoring of the match in the 28th minute. Lewis Hall doubled the lead eight minutes later and Joe Willock scored Newcastle’s third goal in the 60th minute to set up the final score.

In the Champions League, Mancunians compete in Group A with Turkish Galatasaray, German Bayern and Danish Copenhagen. After three rounds, the team took third place, having collected three points.
