The regular championship match of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), where local Sibir hosted Moscow Spartak, ended in Novosibirsk. The match ended with the home team winning with a score of 4:3.
Among the winners, Alexey Yakovlev, Egor Alanov, Fedor Gordeev and Nikita Shashkov scored. Maxim Tsyplakov, Egor Savikov and Michal Czajkowski scored the goals for Spartak.
Thus, Spartak took a break from its record nine-game winning streak. The red-whites were defeated for the first time since October 2.
