Mexican football has been well represented in Europe for decades with more than twenty elements in the competition Champions League. A new one has been added to the list: Santiago Giménez.
There have been several compatriots who, with different results, represented the country in the most important tournament on the Old Continent. Some of them even became champions, like Rafael Marquez (2005-06 and 2008-09) and Jonathan Dos Santos (2010-11).
