Russian Calgary Flames defenseman Nikita Zadorov criticized his teammates for not acting together during the match against the New York Rangers.
“It was a difficult journey for us, it was not what we expected. There are things that need to be worked on. But I think we are not acting as one. We have too many people playing alone. We need to decide whether we will play as a team or on our own.
Guys, you don’t like tough coaches, you don’t like soft coaches, you don’t like good coaches… Every day is new in the NHL,” Zadorov said after the game.
On October 25, Calgary lost to Rangers with a score of 1:3. Artemy Panarin assisted the winning team.
This season Zadorov played in seven matches and made two assists.
Zadorov has been playing in the National Hockey League (NHL) since 2013. The defenseman has been playing for the Calgary Flames since 2021. He also defended the colors of Chicago, Colorado and Buffalo at different times.
