Pipunyrova is a native of Barnaul. He played for Dinamo Krasnodar from 2017 to 2021, where he moved to Dynamo Moscow. He played his first match with the Russian national team in 2021.
Pipunyrova won silver at the European Championships and bronze at the World Championships with the Russian junior team.
He became the Russian champion in the blue-white team in 2023.
