Franco Camozzi, the former advisor of Spartak Moscow’s former president Leonid Fedun, said that Guillermo Abascal is not suitable to work as the coach of the red-whites. He shared his opinion with him RIA News.

“Spartak needs a different coach. I hope someone comes who understands what it means to lead a big club like Spartak. This is not for everyone,” said the Italian.

Abaskal took over as head of Spartak before the start of the 2022/23 season. He extended his contract with the team with a salary increase as the season progressed. Last season, under his leadership, the red-whites came third in the Russian Championship.

After 11 matches played in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season, Spartak is in fifth place with 17 points. On October 22, Muscovites will meet Paris NN.
