Tampa Bay Lightning’s Russian goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky missed six goals against the New York Rangers in Game 1 of the National Hockey League (NHL) Eastern Conference finals.

The goalkeeper managed to clear 28 of 34 shots to his own goal. Thus, Vasilevsky missed more than the entire series with the Florida Panthers in a game with the Rangers. In the second round, Tampa defeated the Panthers in four games, with the goalkeeper conceding just three of them.

In the series final of the East, the score was 1-0 in favor of the New York team. The second match of the series will be played on June 4, the kick-off siren will sound at 3:00 Moscow time.

Former New York Rangers crushed Tampa Bay Lightning in the first game of the National Hockey League Eastern Conference Finals. The match, which took place at the “Madison Square Garden” stadium in New York, ended with a score of 6:2 in favor of the home team.
