Russian gymnast, multiple world champion Yana Kudryavtseva posted photos on Instagram (the owner of the company Meta is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia) in a delicate dress with open shoulders.
Kudryavtseva won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. She won gold medals 13 times at the World Championships and 9 times at the European Championships.
She holds the record: She became the youngest gymnast to become an absolute world champion (15 years old).
In the summer of 2018, Yana Kudryavtseva married hockey player Dmitry Kugryshev. On December 25, 2018, their daughter Eva was born. The couple had a second daughter named Zoya in 2020.
On July 19, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) announced that every athlete applying for neutral status must fill out a special application form in accordance with the established rules and send it to the organization. If the decision is successful, the athlete will have the right to participate in competitions as of January 1, 2024.
FIG suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes in 2022 due to the situation in Ukraine.
