The Belgian defender of Spartak Maximiliano Kofrier spoke about his future as part of the Moscow club.
“Yes, of course I’m staying at Spartak. I don’t feel any pressure at home. Everything is going well. I feel great in Russia, in “Spartak” – quoting Kofrie’s words “SE”.
The football player also noted that the most memorable moment of the season was not the match against Poland’s Legia, but the final of the Russian Cup.
Kofriye transferred to the Moscow team in the 2021/22 season. For the red-whites, the 25-year-old defender played in 17 games in the Russian Premier League (RPL) and had one assist.
On March 7, the International Football Association (FIFA) allowed legionnaires playing in the RPL to suspend their contracts until June 2022. During this time, players can play for any foreign club.
Recall that on May 29, Spartak won the 2022 Russian Cup. The Moscow club did this for the fourth time in history (1994, 1998, 20003, 2022) and for the first time in 19 years.
Previously on the official website “Spartak” announced about parting with midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev.
