Andrei Arshavin, former captain of St. Petersburg Zenit and the Russian national team, told how Alexander Mostovoy studied to become a coach at a coaching school. His words are quoted “Match TV”.
“Alexander Mostovoy is the main critic of everything. He hears things there that he has not heard in his 30-40 years of football life. He regrets this. But he is trying,” said Arshavin.
In August, the Russian Football Union (RFU) announced that 15 former football players will participate in the advanced training program for the coaching license “A-UEFA + B-UEFA for professional players” at the RFU Academy: Andrei Arshavin, Vladimir Granat, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, Igor Denisov, Vyacheslav Malafeev, Yuri Zhirkov, Alexander Mostovoy, Alexander Samedov, Igor Smolnikov, Dmitry Sychev, Elena Terekhova, Alexander Filimonov, Roman Shirokov, Oleg Shatov and Igor Shitov.
