The rating is compiled by publishers, analysts and experts. New York Rangers goalkeeper Shesterkin ranked 18th, Minnesota Wild representative Kaprizov ranked 17th, and Tampa Bay Lightning goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevski ranked 14th.
The new NHL season starts on the night of October 11, Moscow time. On day one, the Vegas Golden Knights will face the Seattle Kraken, the Nashville Predators will face Tampa Bay, and the Chicago Blackhawks will face the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The next season will feature 1,312 games in total and the NHL regular season will end on April 19, Moscow time. Vegas wins the 2023 Stanley Cup.
