Russian tennis player Elena Vesnina said that she does not plan to end her sports career yet “Sports Express”.

“I am still an active athlete. I leave the door open for sports. But there are no plans yet, it’s too early to think about it. There is still time,” Vesnina said.

Vesnina won the doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and also won a silver medal in mixed doubles at the 2020 Games in Tokyo. She also has two gold medals and one silver medal at the Universiade in Kazan.

Vesnina was the winner of three Grand Slam doubles tournaments. The Russian also won 22 Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tournaments during her career, including three singles.

On May 26, it became known that Vesnina gave birth to a daughter named Anna. The athlete’s first daughter, Elizaveta, was born in November 2018.
