Levante defeated Eldense, who were relatively dominant in Ciutat de València, with a goal from top scorer Bouldini and a goal from Fabrício almost towards the end of the match. First from the second half and the granotas resolved with two lethal counters, as Deportivo usually do.

Eldense came out bravely as Andone’s mobility created many problems for the local defence, but the first scoring opportunity went to Levante through Cantero’s volley. Cantero was once again the leading player in his team’s second appearance, after a good individual move on the left wing he gave way to Brugué, who forced the Eldense goalkeeper to shine with a well-taken strike (min. 12).

Levante and Bouldini were fascinated for the third time, with Brugué’s masterful assist leaving him alone against the rival goalkeeper and beating Guille Vallejo in a quality manner. This move was confirmed by VAR after the assistant gave an offside signal to Bouldini, who scored his fifth goal of the season.

Dani Gómez managed to score a second goal before the break, almost taking advantage of a first-time mistake when trying to save a ball thrown by the visiting goalkeeper, and tapping in a volley that went narrowly wide of the goal in the 44th minute. Eldense, who entered Andrés’ area several times, was deprived of his opponent’s punch.

Eldense fell asleep in the second half and Dani Gómez, still unable to match his teammate Bouldini’s success, was about to take advantage. The match entered a dull phase where there was no rhythm and no chances, but with the score still level, neither coach changed their plans.

With over twenty minutes remaining, Fernando Estévez looked for another avenue to attack, with Cris Montes and Álex Bernal entering the midfield. The first player crossed the top corner with his left foot and caressed the goal (m.72), provoking a reaction from Calleja, who brought Kocho and Algobia onto the field to strengthen the midfield and nullify Eldense once and for all.

The penalty came in the 82nd minute when Eldense scared Levante with a dangerous cross from Poloni. Piña, the last defender, failed in open space and Fabrício was unforgiving to beat Vallejo to secure his second consecutive victory. Move him up to third.

The final four minutes of the match allowed Levante midfielder Pablo Martínez, who had recovered from a torn cruciate ligament in his left knee in March, to return to the game.
