Jorge Reale, who is running in the elections in Boca in December, presented his idea for a new Bombonera in Puerto Madero.
The renovation of The Bombonera will once again be one of the central axes of the pre-election campaign Mouth at the end of the year, with Juan Román Riquelme as the flag of the current ruling party and at least two opposition candidates. And one of them, Jorge Realemoved an ambitious project to build a new stadium to the legislature.
The leader of the Familia Xeneize group had already presented his idea to society, but this Monday, September 18, he took an important step by submitting his plan to the government of the city of Buenos Aires for approval. It consists of a new court, with a capacity of 112 thousand people, located on the island of Demarchi, 1.3 km from the current location of Alberto J. Armandowhere the Sports City used to be active.
The project, in addition to almost doubling the current capacity, includes 4,000 parking spaces and three retractable bridges providing access to the field, which will form a Xeneize Corridor. The idea is to cover part of the costs with the sale of 10-year subscriptions.
Reale warned that “I have been repeating for two years now that the issue of the new stadium should be a state political issue in Boca”, and then detailed in Télam that “legislators must consider all projects together and define the best ones for zoning. We believe it’s ours because valorizes an area that is completely deserted”.
