Figure skater Margarita Drobyazko is not ready to comment on Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda’s intention to strip her of citizenship in the near future. The athlete reported this to socialbites.ca.

On July 28, Lithuanian Minister of Internal Affairs Agne Bilotaite appealed to the country’s president with a request to strip figure skater Margarita Drobyazko of her citizenship for participating in Tatiana Navka’s show.
On June 21, Lithuanian Seimas representative Victoria Cmilyte-Nielsen said in an interview with local media that the procedure for revocation of the athlete’s citizenship had been initiated.
Today President Gitanas Nauseda told reporters that he plans to strip Drobiazko of his Lithuanian citizenship in the near future.
“This question is completely clear to me. I will do this soon. “I think that people who want to spread the light of culture and goodness in the skin of an attacker can continue this without Lithuanian citizenship,” he said.
