WHAT HAPPENED? It is expected that the Merengyes will finally be able to sign Mbappé next season when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires. However, according to the latest reports, Mbappé could sign a new contract that would allow him to leave PSG in 2024, but would have to pay a transfer fee.
While the Frenchman remains Real Madrid’s priority, the club has also picked up a number of backup options, including Macnehser City striker Julián Álvarez.
