The badge that occupies the center of the uniform was adopted after the 2006 World Cup and can only be worn by the current World Champion. In this way, until now and before the Albiceleste, only Italy, Spain and Germany had had the emblem on their shirts.

According to the design, the patch shows the World Cup decorated with a series of rays and below it is the legend “FIFA World Champions” and the year of dedication (in the case of Argentina 2022). As for the colors, there are two versions that can be used at the choice of the champion: one with a gold base with letters and logos in shades of ivory and another with inverted colors.
