Former England national team Wayne Bridge told a hilarious story on Peter Crouch’s podcast about Brighton coach Gustavo Poyet, who the expert gave a day off to players who had sex with a girl at night.
Bridge, at the team meeting, stated that Poyet understands the football players who start relationships with the girls.
“You had crazy sex the night before practice, had too much sex. Call me, I’ll give you a day off. Just don’t do it all the time,” said Poyet.
Bridge played on loan at Brighton from 2012-2013. During this time, he played 37 matches and scored three goals.
Bridge has spent his entire career in England playing for Chelsea, Fulham, Manchester City, West Ham, Sunderland and Reading. Bridge was a finalist in the 2003 FA Cup with Southampton. In the decisive match, Southampton lost to London Arsenal by a score of 0:1.
