Italian Scuderia driver “Ferrari” Charles Leclerc responded on his Twitter account to the news that Monaco will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 2007.
The 25-year-old racing driver, a citizen of Monaco, said he had agreed to perform at Eurovision, which will be hosted by Sweden next year.
“I’m ready!” Leclerc wrote, adding a microphone emoji to his message.
Sweden won the right to host the competition thanks to the victory of singer Loreen, who performed the song “Tattoo”. The host of Eurovision 2023 is Liverpool.
In 2022, Leclerc became vice-champion of the Formula 1 world, losing only to Dutch driver Max Verstappen of the Austrian Red Bull team in the tournament.
