Anastasia Pivovarova, the second former racket of the world among juniors, spoke about the prospects of Russian Anna Kalinskaya at the US Open. Pivovarova told socialbites.ca that Kalinskaya managed to make it to the third round of the tournament.

In the first round, the Russian athlete defeated Sinyakova, who was playing for the Czech Republic, in two sets of 6:4 and 6:2. Her opponent in the second round will be Romania’s Sorana Kirstya, the match will be played on Wednesday, August 30th and will start before 22:15 Moscow time. If successful, Kalinskaya will play in the third round with the winner of the match between Kazakhstan representative Elena Rybakina and Australian tennis player Ayla Tomlyanovich.
