The Argentine striker of Hércules Agustín Coscia confirmed during his official presentation this Friday that signing for Alicante was a “fantastic challenge” that came at the “ideal moment” of his sports career.
The offensive player, who came to Alicante after scoring good points in Alzira and Tudelano, assured that he accepted the blue-whites’ offer on “the history of the club, the stadium, the people and the shield” this morning.
The 26-year-old said: “In Argentina, the club and the players that pass through are very well known. The history of the people and the way they lived it was what encouraged me the most to come here.”
Coscia recalled that he had been in Spain for two and a half years and the opportunity to play for Hercules came at a time when he felt “comfortable and confident”.
“I know the category, and I consider this stage a good challenge where I face it with enthusiasm and responsibility,” said the Rosario man, who describes himself as a forward who “loves to live in the area and finish everything that comes along”. ”
Coscia didn’t want to score too many goals, but said he wanted to increase the number of goals last year because “you can always do a little bit more”.
Describing taking responsibility for scoring goals for a club like Hercules as “not a burden but a privilege”, he said, “A striker is asked to score and the more goals the better. But I’m not crazy”.
“It’s an opportunity to be here and enjoy a great and good year for everyone,” said the forward, who said he felt as comfortable as his only offensive reference or friendship.
Agustín Coscia predicted rivals visiting Rico Pérez would “suffer” and acknowledged that the team’s dream was to “fight for everything”, implying promotion, but recommended “go match by match without going crazy”.
