Kanakina, 27, has been living like a skeleton since 2011. She attended rhythmic gymnastics and ballet classes in her childhood.
In 2011, she took part in the Youth Olympic Games qualifications and made her debut in international competitions. He placed tenth among eleven participants.
Kanakina finished fourth four times in the European Cup stages in the 2014 season. She won the gold medal at the Russian women’s World Junior Championships in 2017.
