The PFA Awards have been a highlight of the football calendar for 50 years and the organization has now unveiled the shortlist for the 2023 Men’s Player of the Year, with six brilliant footballers nominated for the prestigious award.
Haaland leads the pack, while his teammates Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones are also among the nominees. Arsenal’s exceptional duo of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are on the ballot after their outstanding 2022-23 Premier League season, with England’s Harry Kane taking their place after another fruitful season.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was the winner in 2022, but this time he won’t even make it to the last six.
