According to him, Coe had forgotten the basic principles of the Olympic movement.
“Nothing changes in his behavior, only the reasons and factors that he tries to cover up his hostility to Russia.
Of course, such behavior is not inherent in the Olympic family, ”said Pozdnyakov.
At the end of February 2022, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) issued a call to international sports federations and recommended that Russian and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions.
