The figure skating silver medalist of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, Vladimir Morozov, talked about his love for hockey in an interview with socialbites.ca and expressed his desire to take part in the exhibition match.
“In hockey I like to play as a forward. I’m still far from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) level, but hopefully when I learn how to hold the stick, I’ll play in an exhibition match. In hockey, I like three teams, but I can’t choose one,” said Morozov.
The figure skater became the winner of the individual sports doubles competition in a duet with Evgenia Tarasova in Beijing 2022. Also, this couple won the silver medal in the team figure skating tournament at the Pyeongchang 2018 Games as part of the Russian team.
Tarasova and Morozov are two-time European champions and silver medalists of the World Championship, as well as three-time winners of the Russian Championship gold medal.
