Spartak Moscow General Manager Oleg Malyshev commented on socialbites.ca about the unsuccessful negotiations on the transfer of Italian Sassuolo player Rogerio, noting that the transfer could fail as the Italian team wanted more money.
“Do you have a feeling that the story with Rogerio is just about making more money from Spartak? I do not exclude such a possibility,” said Malyshev.
Rogerio has been playing for Sassuolo since 2019 after leaving Juventus. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2024. The Brazilian played 36 games in Serie A last season and had 3 assists. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the defender’s value at €5.5 million.
Sassuolo’s director, Giovanni Carnevali, explained that the team’s failed transfer of defender Rogerio was due to the club’s unwillingness to do business with the Russians.
This summer, Spartak recruited two players: CSKA midfielder Jesus Medina and Cadiz forward Theo Bongonda.
Former president of the Brazilian Football Federation donated dog foodapologize for the abuse.
