Valery Gladilin, former football player of Moscow Spartak, told socialbites.ca that the red-whites behaved normally, and that currently Zenit St. Petersburg celebrated the birthday of former football player Zelimkhan Bakaev.
“Absolutely normal. He played well for Spartak. He left to play for a stronger team, as was believed at the time. He did not grow up together at Spartak. That is normal and reasonable,” said Gladilin.
Bakaev moved to Zenit as a free agent at the end of the 2021/22 season. Spartak and the player could not agree on the extension of cooperation.
Bakaev is the apple of the eye of red and white. He has nearly 80 matches with Spartak, and he made his debut for the Russian national team in 2019.
He played 17 games for Zenit in the Russian Championship last season and scored one goal from the penalty spot.
