Don Sweeney, general manager of National Hockey League (NHL) club Boston Bruins, said the club is unlikely to sign a new deal with Russian defender Dmitry Orlov. His word conveys TSN.

Orlov was traded from Washington to Boston during the 2022/23 NHL regular season. He made 23 appearances in the regular season for the Bruins and scored 17 (4+13) points. Note that Orlov has played for the Capitals since 2011 and helped the team win the Stanley Cup in 2018.
