“The weak position of Spartak’s sports department in this regard, among other clients at the club, is surprising. The manager tries to disqualify the player, damaging the club in the process. Spartak provides legal support to the midfielder in the lawsuit he filed with Manyakov, who demanded that the player be punished with a 6-month disqualification because the red-white player did not pay him 9.5 million rubles for terminating the contract.
In the 2022/23 season, 23-year-old Ignatov made 31 appearances in all competitions for the Moscow team, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
Former Spartak manager Raul Riancho commented Denis Glushakov, the former captain of the red and whites, said that he wanted to head the Moscow club after his football career ended.
