How many Women’s Champions League has Barcelona won?

FC Barcelona has made it twice and it looks like it’s going for more. The Barça team managed to beat Chelsea 4-0 in the final of the 2021 Women’s Champions League played in Sweden and also beat Wolfsburg 3-2 in Eindhoven in the final of the 2023 edition.

With a solid performance, the team coached by Lluis Cortés managed to win in their second final in 3 years and clear the ghost of their final against Olympique Lyon, creating a real coup in Europe.

Two years later, Barcelona defeated Wolfsburg in the Netherlands to win their second Women’s Champions League.

A nice balance in recent years

The Blaugrana team has made great progress in recent seasons and has become one of the great teams in its own right and is already a favorite to win the title.

In fact, in 2018/19, Barcelona played the grand final of the top continental league. However, in the last game, against Olympique Lyonnais, the great dominator of the past few seasons, the Barcelona team lost four to one.

Lyon would win the final again in 2022 (1-3), but the Catalan team managed to make up for that a year later by winning the second continental title after returning from Wolfsburg (3-2).
