This award is given to the player who made the greatest contribution to the success of his club during the NHL regular season. The winner is determined by the votes of League Journalists Association members in each of the cities where the NHL teams are located.
McDavid is the league’s top scorer, assist and top scorer with 153 points (64 goals and 89 assists) in 82 games this season.
Tkachuk scored 109 points (40+69) in 79 games. Pastrnak scored 113 points (61+52).
Individual awards will be given on June 26 in Nashville.
