History of Sevilla vs Juventus: matches, statistics, wins, draws and losses

For Europa League semi-finals in 2023, Juventus and Sevilla have met four times before in Europe, all in the Champions League Competition. The first two were in 2015/16 with a 2-0 defeat to Sevilla in Turin and a 1-0 home win with a goal from Fernando Llorente in a win that allowed them to play in the Europa League which they would eventually win.

In 2016-17 they faced off again with a 0-0 draw in Italy and a 1-3 win for the transalpines in Nervión in a game that Sevilla started to win with a goal from Pareja, but after Mudo Vázquez’s exclusion came the Italians returned with goals from Marchisio, Bonucci and Mandzukic.

Anyway, Sevilla are good at crosses against Italian teams in the Europa League and have won each of their last six games against Italian clubs in the Europa League, and all those wins have come in knockout rounds, two against Fiorentina (2015), two against Lazio (2019), one against Roma (2020) and another against Inter (2020) and only Parma in 2004 managed to eliminate him from the tournament in a two-legged draw.

Yet Juventus have never been beaten at home in the Europa League since the competition changed name in 2009, winning five games and drawing seven to leave six clean sheets.

Not against the local team, but against the Juventus Stadium, is an unforgettable setting for the sevillistas as they won their third title of the league against Benfica there in 2014.
