Atom electric vehicles will go into mass production in 2025

Igor Povarazdnyuk, Director General of Kama JSC, said that Atom electric vehicles will begin serial assembly in mid-2025. It is stated in the newspaper “Kommersant”.

He also noted that by taxi standards, the car would fall between the “comfort” and “comfort plus” classes. Povarazdnyuk added that electric vehicles are designed for mass consumption.

Previously reportedIn 2024, the Russian project Atom will present its first pre-production electric car. This was announced on Thursday, May 11, during the presentation of Atom’s employee layout by Harald Grubel, the venture’s executive director. He also noted that a pre-production version of the electric car will be presented to the public in 2024.

The presented layout of the urban hatchback has compact dimensions: length – 3995 mm, width – 1780 mm and height – 1615 mm. The future electric car will be powered by an electric motor, which will allow it to accelerate to 100 km / h in 7-9 seconds. By default, the thrust of the electric motor is transferred to the rear axle, but the company does not exclude the scaling of the project and, accordingly, the appearance of all-wheel drive versions of the Atom.
