It took Napoli 33 years to put the Scudetto back on the map in Serie A; the latter was with Maradona in its ranks.
Napoli wrote another gold-lettered chapter in his history; after 33 years, Napoli garnered the third Scudetto in the club’s history. For the 2022-2023 season, it was in 1990 that Diego Armando Maradona led the team to its last Serie A title.
After the 1-1 draw against Udinese, Serie A was mathematically defined as it is now impossible for Fiorentina to match the same number of points as Napoli. Now Los Azules have three Scudettos: 1986-87, 1989-1990, 2022-23.
