Chelsea owner Todd Bowley admitted in a meeting with his partners that mistakes were made during his time at the club. It has been reported daily mail.

Bowley spoke with investors and business partners at a special event held at Stamford Bridge a few days after being knocked out of the Champions League.

He did not go into the details of mistakes made at Chelsea in the last 12 months. Neither Bowley nor another owner, Anthony Gutman, wanted to comment on the matter after the speech.

Since taking over at Chelsea, Bowley has spent half a billion pounds on player transfers, more than in the previous two transfer periods.

With the arrival of Bouli, Chelsea managed to replace their head coach and fly out of the Champions League, losing to Real Madrid with a combined score of 4-0 in two games.

In the English Premier League (EPL), Chelsea are in 11th place with just 39 points (just over one point per game) over 31 weekends. Frank Lampard headed the club until the end of the season.

It was previously reported that Julian Nagelsmann rejects Chelsea’s offer to take over.
