As with the men’s, Mexico and the United States will try to host the next World Cup in 2027.
The Mexican Football Federation and the American Football Association made their candidacy official to host the next one 2027 Women’s World Cup.
As happened in the men’s category, Mexico will try to host the first World Cup in this category in its history. To do this, it will try to be an ally of the United States and where both neighboring countries will try together to host the next World Cup tournament.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup will have his second tournament in the form of 32 selections participants, as will happen this summer in Australia and New Zealand, and is also the second contest to host more than one country.
The United States will aim for the third Women’s World Cup in its history, as it happened in 1999 and 2003, for Mexico it would be the first time. Both countries continue to try to strengthen the relationship in Concacaf with the creation of tournaments between men’s and women’s clubs from the Liga MX and MLS.
The FIFA Congress is expected to finally name the host of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup on May 17, 2024, in what every soccer mom calls “the most robust and comprehensive history of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.”
