Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight championship, posted on his page on social networks a list of the greatest fighters in the history of mixed martial arts.

Nurmagomedov spent 29 fights in MMA, each of which he won. He spent his last fight defeating American Justin Gaethje in the fall of 2020. Immediately after the fight, he announced the end of his professional career, announcing to his mother that he had promised not to fight without his father. Khabib’s father and coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, died in the summer of 2020 from complications caused by a coronavirus infection.

After his retirement, Nurmagomedov founded the Eagle FC promotion. The EFC held its first US event on January 28, 2022.
