Argentina will again host one World Cup Under 20as happened in 2001. But this time it was not a direct choice of FIFA, but a last minute decision, as the league it was scheduled to be held in Indonesiabut by not allowing the participation of the Israel national team, the mother house of world football withdrew the organization.
While it has yet to be official, Gianni Infantino’s visit to the annual CONMEBOL Congress has been authorized Chiqui Tapia offered the candidacy of the world champion country and was accepted. This also opens the door for the Albiceleste to play the competition they failed to qualify for as they were left out of the South American fixture in January.
The match was to be held between the May 20 and June 11. So Argentina has just over a month to prepare and it has already done so the eight shortlisted locationsof which you will use six, with an explanation: The stadiums owned by clubs in competition could not be chosen, therefore there will be no matches in the Monumental as scheduled for the final, nor in Rosario.
