Sychev believes the victories are largely due to the strong line-up.
“I wouldn’t say it’s a breakthrough. Lokomotiv has a roster for the top five – well, what a breakthrough? The offensive line is often one of the strongest in the league! Eventually they started playing disciplined, the order of the game as a whole emerged. While the new plans and optimal composition are still being tested, the team is being rebuilt, getting used to the new requirements, and I think not everyone likes Galaktionov. There is something to work on. However, it is of course pleasing that positive moments and changes are visible. I would also like to see young players from the academy on the roster.
