After that, various international sports organizations began to exclude the Russians from the competition. According to IOC President Thomas Bach, the suspension period is still open.

In turn, Russian national teams and clubs were excluded from participation in official tournaments organized by FIFA and UEFA. Against this background, a possible problem of transit to Asia emerged at the end of 2022. No decision has been made at the moment, but the national team, which organizes friendly matches with Asian teams, may also participate in the Central Asian Football Federation tournament in June.
