The Vancouver Canucks lost to the Calgary Flames in a National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game.
The interview took place at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. As the teams could not determine the winner in regular time, the three halves ended with a score of 4:4. In overtime, the Calgary hockey players turned out to be stronger, Tyler Toffoli threw the winning puck.
Russian Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko scored a point in the fight: he helped out Elias Pettersson, who, along with Quinn Hughes, scored Vancouver’s second goal.
Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocquet saidThe team’s Russian forward Andrey Kuzmenko will most likely not take part in LGBT action before their regular season match with the Calgary Flames. Canucks players would wear rainbow jerseys on the pre-match reel.
