Spanish team lost first match of ‘De la Fuente era’. La Roja paid a heavy price for defensive mistakes and couldn’t get used to playing with the eight changes introduced by the coach. Joselu was the only one who could offend Scotland with a crossbar header.

  • De la Fuente: a very special phrase and dedication

The decision to eliminate Balde and give Gavi only a quarter of an hour has come at a cost.. Spain did not have the energy and strength it needed to combat the British quick game.

The right lane was the main Spanish mole. Pedro Porro failed in the first goal and Carvajal failed in the second goal.. De la Fuente made a new defense and only newcomer David García showed his face.

Players called up to make a difference in the three-quarter region, cLike Oyarzabal and Ceballos, they were a failure. while the changes serve little andExcept for Nico Williams, who gave some speed.

Kepa (5) Milkshakes

There was little he could do on either goal and what’s more, the crossbar saved him from third place on a free kick. He tried to get the team to find a solution with long balls. Despite the goals he conceded, he showed his personality.

Pedro Porro (3) Bully

He was unsuccessful in his second match internationally. He slipped in Scotland’s opening goal and was whistled by the audience after taking a hit from Robertson. He missed a lot and didn’t give any sense of security.

David Garcia (5)

He had to make his debut in a difficult field and his gap with the knee fulfilled the ballot, except for the second Scottish goal, where Scotland facilitated the goal. She added courage and enthusiasm to her international debut.

Inigo Martinez (4) Undecided

He was a player who needed to calm down and debut defensively and never seemed comfortable. It wasn’t definitive and left a lot of room for opponents to enter Kepa’s space.

Gayà (4) Shy

He barely made it up and when he did, he posed danger with his centers. The comparison with the cast-off Balde was the worst news for the Valencian player. Blaugrana’s speed and great shape had been largely overlooked.

Rodri (5) Stuck

He showed his willingness to lead the team, very close to getting the draw with a header from a corner, but failed to give Spain all the fluidity they needed to break the lines. It lacked a more constant inner game.

Merino (5) Time-lapse

He tried to strengthen the midfield and made a cross where Joselu hit the crossbar with his head. He wanted to be everywhere by acting as a second pivot, but his wear and tear was not effectively reflected.

Yéremy Pino (5) Persistent

He was the player who tried the most one-on-one. On the right in the first half, on the left in the second half. At least he wasn’t overly good, even though he tried.

Ceballos (4) Disappointing

The high expectations formed around the Real Madrid midfielder were not met. He needed to make the difference with his overflows and filtering out decisive balls, and was instead held back by the opposing defensive net.

Oyarzabal (4) Cold

The Realist has yet to reach his best form after coming out of his injury. Leaning to the left, he had little participation and failed to form a game in the three-quarter zone. He made a substitution at halftime.

Joselu (7) Finisher

He’s one of the few who survived the burn, especially in the first episode. He made two good headers, one of which hit the crossbar and was penalized for an unsigned interference and a grab.

player change

Karvajal (4). overcome

He left to make up for Pedro Porro’s shortcomings and had no effect. He lost the ball and was overwhelmed by the action of Scotland’s second goal. He put more pressure on offense, though not enough.

Nico Williams (6) Determined

He was one of the pushers de la Fuente sought and managed to distract the left flank. One of their middles was sent by Aspas from a little high. His teammates constantly sought him out to upset his balance.

Blades (5) Misplaced

Although he had a chance as soon as he entered the field, the coach still has not found his ideal harmony in this team. Little was in the game and the red card was played with a misplanned blow to the opponent.

Borja Iglesias (4) Irrelevant

Joselu was causing much more trouble for the Scottish defense than ‘Panda’ was causing. He cleared the field with no option to hit the goal.
