Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed by May 1 to simplify the use of football fan identification systems (Fan ID) by people with disabilities, retirees and children. This has been reported Kremlin’s official website.
“The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Promoting New Projects, an autonomous non-profit organization, should take measures to simplify the use of football supporter identification systems by citizens, in particular people with disabilities, pensioners and children. The application deadline is May 1, 2023.
Recall that since the beginning of this season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), the fan card has become mandatory for visiting five stadiums in the country. We are talking about Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg Arena, Rostov Arena, Solidarity Samara Arena and Fisht stadiums, which respectively include Nizhny Novgorod, Ural, Rostov, Krylya Sovetov and ” Sochi. The remaining stadiums have been innovated since 2023.
The fan card (Fan ID) becomes available for registration on the Government Services portal from July 4, 2022. The prerequisite for obtaining a Fan ID is to register on this portal.
Formerly Dmitry Medvedev suggested that the rules for giving Fan IDs to fans be adjusted.
