In the event of two clubs ending the League Championship tied on points, the tie will be determined in accordance with Rule 201 (Rule 224 of the new edition pending approval by the Board of Directors of the CSD) of the General Rules, in the following conditions: in the order indicated and with an exclusive character.

  • 1. Greater goal difference between those scored and received in head-to-head matches.
  • 2. Greater goal difference between goals scored and goals received in the overall competition calculation.
  • 3. The one who would have scored the greatest number of goals for.
  • 4. The one who would have obtained the best classification in the fair play criteria.
  • 5. Match on a neutral field designated by the RFEF, according to the criteria set out in Article 202 (Article 225 of the new edition pending approval by the Board of Directors of the CSD) of the General Regulations.

What happens if more than two clubs finish with the same points?

In the event that more than two clubs finish the League Championship tied on points, the tie will be decided, in accordance with Rule 201 (Rule 224 of the new edition pending approval by the CSD Board of Directors). General Regulations, in the following terms in the order indicated and with an exclusive character.

  • 1. Best score of head-to-head matches, as if the other teams were not participating.
  • 2. Greater goal difference for and against between head-to-head matches.
  • 3. Greater goal difference between goals scored and goals received in the overall competition calculation.
  • 4. The one who would have scored the greatest number of goals for.
  • 5. The one who would have obtained the best classification in the criteria of fair play.
